Safety notes
- ⚠️ Remind children that modeling clay and glitter glue are art materials and not for consumption. Supervise the use of small paintbrushes to ensure they are handled properly and not near eyes. Ensure adequate ventilation if using any scented or strongly-pigmented materials, although these are generally non-toxic. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after the activity to remove any residue.
Cleanup
- 🧹 Scrape excess modeling clay from brushes and hands into a single ball for disposal. Wipe down the table and canvas board edges with a damp cloth, then dispose of the plastic tablecloth. Rinse paintbrushes thoroughly under running water until clean, then reshape bristles and allow to air dry.
