Safety notes
- ⚠️ Adult supervision is absolutely required when using any heat source such as a light bulb, hairdryer, or clothing iron to reveal messages. Ensure children maintain a safe distance from hot surfaces and never touch light bulbs directly. Remind children that while the 'inks' are food-safe, they are for experimental use only and should not be consumed during the activity.
Cleanup
- 🧹 Gather all used cotton swabs and discard them appropriately. Empty any remaining liquid 'ink' solutions down the sink and rinse the small bowls thoroughly with warm, soapy water. Wipe down the work surface with a damp cloth to remove any spills, ensuring all materials are put away properly.
