Safety notes
- ⚠️ Always supervise children when using glass jars to prevent breakage, which could cause cuts. Ensure children wash their hands thoroughly with soap and water after handling backyard soil and plants, as soil can contain bacteria. Do not allow children to eat any of the materials collected from the backyard.
Cleanup
- 🧹 Gather all newspaper or tablecloths from the work area and gently fold them inward to prevent any dirt from scattering, then dispose of the soiled paper. Rinse any used trowels or spoons with water until clean, and wipe down the work surface with a damp cloth to remove any remaining soil or charcoal dust. Make sure lids are securely fastened on terrariums to prevent spills.
