Safety notes
- ⚠️ Keep deliveries away from stairs, bathrooms, hot appliances, glass shelves, and places where your child might climb to reach a “mailbox.” Avoid using real mail with private information visible, and do not use small clips, rubber bands, or tiny stamp-like pieces with children who still mouth objects. If siblings are playing, make the route one-way and spaced out so children are not racing into each other around corners.
Cleanup
- 🧹 Close the post office by gathering all letters into one pile or recycling any scraps you do not want to keep. Invite your child to choose one favorite letter to save for the next route, then return chairs, cushions, or baskets to their usual spots.
