Safety notes
- ⚠️ The Makey Makey operates on very low, safe voltage from the USB port, so there is no risk of electric shock. However, never submerge the electronic board itself in water or any liquid. Ensure hands are dry when plugging components into the computer's USB port.
Cleanup
- 🧹 First, disconnect the USB cable and carefully unclip all alligator clips from the vegetables and the board. Wipe any moisture or vegetable residue from the metal clip ends with a dry cloth or paper towel before storing. The vegetables, if minimally punctured, can be washed for cooking or placed in a compost bin.
