Safety notes
- ⚠️ If you are driving, the child should not touch music controls, phones, screens, seat belts, windows, or door handles as part of the game; the adult handles any real audio. Keep volume low enough that the driver can hear traffic sounds and navigation, and pause the game during tricky driving, parking, crossings, or public announcements. For younger children, avoid pretending to be emergency dispatch, police commands, or real traffic directions, since those can become confusing or too loud in a car. In waiting rooms or public transit, set a quiet-voice rule and avoid jokes about nearby strangers.
Cleanup
- 🧹 Use the same sign-off each time so the ending feels predictable rather than abrupt. If real music was used, the adult resets volume or turns it off safely. Thank the DJ for one specific moment, such as, “Your cloud soup commercial made me laugh,” then shift to the next routine.
