Safety notes
- ⚠️ Trace only with a clean, smooth fingernail and use feather-light pressure; do not scratch, poke, or try to leave visible marks on skin. Avoid this activity on irritated skin, hangnails, cuts, rashes, or very dry cracked fingertips. For younger children, keep hands out of mouths after playing unless they have been washed, especially in public places. If your child pulls away, laughs nervously, or says stop, switch to tracing on your own fingers or the no-touch version immediately.
Cleanup
- 🧹 Rub palms together and say the pretend faces are erased, then wash or sanitize hands when you have access. If the game happened during a wait, use the closing line to transition clearly: “Meeting is done; now we listen for our name.” No objects need to be collected, so cleanup is mostly the reset cue and hand hygiene.
