- 💡 This activity enhances spatial-visual reasoning as children translate flat 2D paper into a large 3D character. It promotes fine motor strength and bilateral coordination through the physical effort of folding large-scale thick paper. Safety notes
- ⚠️ Ensure adult supervision when children are using scissors to cut the heavyweight paper and felt. Keep liquid glue away from eyes and mouth, and ensure the workspace is well-ventilated during marker use.
Cleanup
- 🧹 Recycle any paper scraps larger than 3 inches or store them in a scrap bin for future crafts. Wipe down any stray glue or marker spots on the floor with a warm, damp microfiber cloth. Store the glitter shaker securely in a sealed plastic bag after wiping the nozzle.
