- 💡 Writing a complete narrative on the long paper scroll strengthens sequential storytelling and planning skills. Arranging the character and scenery within the confined matchbox space develops spatial awareness and problem-solving as the child figures out how to make all the components fit together.
Safety notes
- ⚠️ Adult supervision is recommended when using the child-safe scissors to cut small paper shapes. The tiny bead and wooden toothpick can be a choking hazard for younger children, so keep these items contained on the work surface. Ensure the non-toxic craft glue is used away from the face.
Cleanup
- 🧹 Collect all small paper scraps and place them in a recycling bin. Tightly cap the non-toxic craft glue bottle and the fine-tip markers. Wipe any glue residue from the table surface with a damp paper towel before it dries.
