Safety notes
- ⚠️ Adult supervision is recommended, especially when using sharp scissors for intricate cutting; ensure children are taught proper scissor handling. Only use battery-operated LED tea lights or string lights inside the lantern, never real flames, to prevent fire hazards. Be mindful of small pieces during cutting that could be a choking hazard for very young children. Avoid direct contact with wet glue; wash hands promptly if skin exposure occurs.
Cleanup
- 🧹 Immediately after crafting, properly dispose of all paper scraps and used glue brushes. Securely recap the glue bottle to prevent drying and store scissors in a safe, designated spot. Wipe down the work surface with a damp cloth to remove any residual glue or glitter, leaving the area neat and tidy for the next creative endeavor.
