Safety notes
- ⚠️ An adult must handle pouring the hot water and steeped tea at all times to prevent serious burns. If using a hair dryer, it should also be operated by an adult to avoid electrical hazards or overheating the fabric. The 'Burned Edges' variation is a significant fire risk and must only be attempted by a responsible adult directly over a sink partially filled with water.
Cleanup
- 🧹 Once cooled, the leftover tea can be poured down the kitchen sink and the used tea bags can be composted or discarded. The baking dishes should be rinsed thoroughly with warm, soapy water to remove any tea residue. Place the finished maps on a dry, protected surface like a clothes drying rack until they are no longer damp.
