Safety notes
- ⚠️ Check the cardboard box for staples, sharp torn cardboard, plastic packing straps, or loose tape that could catch fingers or hair. Do not use real medicine, real thermometers, cotton swabs, elastic bandages, or small pill-like items as props, especially with children under 5. If children climb into the box, keep it on the floor and choose a sturdy, open box only; avoid closing flaps over a child's head or turning the box into a sealed space.
Cleanup
- 🧹 Have your child discharge each patient by placing them in a basket, on a bed, or back on a shelf with their paper plan tucked nearby. Flatten or store the box for the next clinic day, and recycle any extra scraps that are not part of a patient chart. End with a quick hand sweep together: "Animals home, papers saved, clinic closed."
