Safety notes
- ⚠️ Use sturdy objects only and avoid glass, ceramics, sharp kitchen tools, candles, heavy books stacked high, coins, batteries, magnets, or other small choking-size pieces if younger children are present. Keep the museum display low and stable rather than on a high shelf or narrow table edge where objects could fall. Set a clear “museum hands” rule before the tour: visitors ask before touching, especially if siblings are playing. For ages 5 to 6, keep the collection small so they are not rushing around the house grabbing unsafe items.
Cleanup
- 🧹 Close by naming each object’s “home gallery,” then return items one by one together. If your child wants to keep the museum open, choose a small safe corner and set a short end time, such as “It can stay until snack, then the museum staff resets the room.”
