Learning benefits
- 💡 This activity enhances fine motor skills through intricate assembly and knot-tying. It fosters creativity and imaginative play, alongside developing an understanding of cause and effect with sound production and movement.
Safety notes
- ⚠️ Adult supervision is required when using the skewer to pierce bottle caps or cardboard; ensure children do not handle sharp objects unsupervised. Small beads and sequins are choking hazards for children under 3; keep them out of reach. Supervise hot glue gun use, or apply pre-heated glue for older children.
Cleanup
- 🧹 Collect all scrap paper, stray beads, and bottle caps into a waste bin. Wipe down the work surface with a damp cloth to remove any glue residue or glitter. Store remaining craft supplies neatly for future projects.
