Safety notes
- ⚠️ Always supervise your baby closely during this activity. Ensure their high chair is secure and they are always within arm's reach. If using food coloring, ensure it is food-grade and used sparingly. • Choking hazards: Make sure any additions to the yogurt (like cereal) are age-appropriate and safely supervised. • Alone, Back, Crib: Always place your baby alone on their back in a crib, bassinet, or play yard for sleep. • No screens: Avoid screen time for infants under 18 months, except for live video chats with family and friends. • No honey: Do not give honey to infants under 1 year of age. • Keep all small objects (less than 1.25 inches in diameter) out of reach from babies. When to call your pediatrician: If your baby doesn’t crawl, drags one side of their body while crawling, can’t stand with support, or doesn't babble or make a variety of sounds. Always trust your instincts; if something feels off, talk to your pediatrician.
Cleanup
- 🧹 Wipe down your baby's hands, face, and high chair tray with a warm, damp cloth. The baking sheet can be easily rinsed and washed. Any clothes can be pre-treated and washed as usual.
