Safety notes
- ⚠️ Always supervise your baby during playtime. Ensure all materials are free of small parts that could be choking hazards (>1.25 inch diameter) and are safe for mouthing. • Create a safe environment free of trip hazards. • For sleep, remember Alone, Back, Crib: always place your baby Alone on their Back in a bare Crib. • No screens for babies under 18 months, except for live video chats with family. • Never give honey to babies under 1 year old. • Avoid foods that are choking hazards like whole nuts, whole grapes, hot dog rounds, popcorn, and hard candy. • Never use baby walkers, crib bumpers, or weighted sleep sacks. • Cow's milk should not be given to babies under 12 months. When to call your pediatrician: • If your baby does not try to get objects that are out of reach • If your baby does not respond to sounds around them • If your baby seems very stiff or very floppy • If your baby does not babble or make sounds • If your baby does not sit with support by 9 months.
