Safety notes
- ⚠️ Always supervise your baby during this activity to prevent choking hazards and ensure their safety. • The washcloth should be clean and soft. • Ensure the washcloth is cold but not frozen solid, as extremely hard objects can hurt delicate gums. • The washcloth should be large enough that it cannot be swallowed or pose a choking risk (ensure it is >1.25 inches in diameter when folded/rolled). • Never leave your baby unattended with the washcloth. • Remember ABCs of Safe Sleep: Alone, Back, Crib. No loose blankets, bumpers, or soft objects. • No screens for babies under 18 months, except for live video chat with family. • No honey under 1 year of age. • Avoid whole nuts, grapes, hot dog rounds, popcorn, and hard candy for babies.
Cleanup
- 🧹 Rinse and wash the washcloth after each use. If using a resealable bag, wash and dry it thoroughly, or use a new one for hygiene.
